In this extract from the 15th February 1993, Papaji replies a question about effort and non effort in self inquiry: “This is the choice of the unknown who likes to unfold its mystery to someone, and those who are chosen, they will simply submit before it, and they are the ones who are chosen and they’re the one who will be free. You are advised simply to keep quiet and during this quietness perhaps it will reveal itself to you through its own grace. Submit. Keep quiet. Don’t move your mind for one second, one thought. Now is the time, today is the time, this moment is the best moment. Make the best of this moment.”
