7th September 1992 – Desire for Freedom – Part 3

This is part 3 of a long and exceptional Satsang from 7th September 1992. This is the last section and includes the following:
. A young Indian student is skipping classes to come to satsangs and tells “Papaji, I love you, and I don’t love you because I need you, I need you because I love you.” Papaji is very happy and speaks about innocence and how it is better to start at an early age “How to discover the Self? Keep only the desire for freedom. Self is within you, and ‘This is the Self,’ and ‘I am the Self.’ This conviction has to be very strong as the conviction ‘I am the body’ is very strong. Look within and you will find. If you look without you miss it.”
. A devotee asks, “Can you show me this emptiness?” and Papaji guides her into Self-enquiry.
. Another devotee asks about the importance of the body, and Papaji speaks about the preciousness of being in a human form, “This is the importance of the human body: not to wear this body again. This human body can bring you light, freedom, wisdom. You are not the doer.”
. The last part is with a Koren Monk. Papaji mentions some of his Korean and Japanese devotees and makes everyone smile trying to recount their names and where they live.
