All comes from nothing
In this extract from the 26th of November 1993 a man called Roger asks Papaji about the concept that one can create his/her own reality, which is different from surrender. He then asks how to tell when desires and ideas come from nothing and not the ego?
Papaji: “This is the ego, “I can do this thing” and it happens. If you surrender to the Divine Will then that will is doing everything and not your will. This ego has to face its rise. Anything rising from the nothing must be nothing. So, when you understand this thing, then there’s no ego. Nothing alone is. That is called knowledge. There’s nothing. All is nothingness. And nothing means: no name, no form. When you know there’s no name, no form, then this is called freedom.”
