1st January 1994 – Whatever you see is not real

This Satsang from the 1st of January 1994 includes the following interactions:
* Question about leaving.
Papaji: “Who operates the body, even to leave Lucknow? What moves the mind, activates the mind, activates the senses, activates the body, to look after something? Who is that one? We do not know, actually, what is happening. We have to surrender to the Supreme power. You cannot decide. When you surrender to the Supreme power it will look after you very nicely, you see. And no mistake will be made.”
* Len: “Please look into my eyes.”
Papaji: “The sight is the same whether you look at me or I look at you.”
* Nola: A poem.
* Question: “In self-inquiry, there is a quiet state where thoughts are easily observed. But I am still fixed in space and time. Is there a missing step?”
Papaji: “You must be fully aware of what is happening in front of you. This is the highest result of a deepened inquiry, where there is no subject, no topic, no object. Find out what is this witness, where everything is witnessed? That one who is witnessing everything cannot be witnessed by any other thing. you will not find anything, you see. Then you have left your space, your time, your state. Simply, you will merge into ‘That’. No thought. No world. Just something you cannot describe.”
* Gorky: “I see it now that all is mind, illusion. But I am still here.”
Papaji: “Everything is illusion, then only you will stay here. You have to be here. And don’t have any desires in your mind, not even to speak. Everything will be provided to you. Whatever you see is not real. There can be no knowledge without this thing that all is illusion.”
* Devi sings a Krishna song.
