18th August 1992 – Direct Awakening – Part 1
This long Satsang from 18th August 1992 has been divided into two parts. In the discourse at the beginning of satsang, Papaji tells the story of a king who went to visit a saint and due to his arrogance waited many days to see him. Papaji uses this analogy to explain that because of our belief in the āIā we cannot experience freedom here and now and that the belief in any practises is only postponement.
Niranjan from California jumps at Papaji’s feet, in one of our all time favourite interactions and asks him to show him the way to liberation. “No teacher is going to show you the way. The way is no way! This way is mind. You are always at home.”
