This ‘I’ is a Hook
This compilation has been put together to celebrate Papaji’s birthday.
Papaji always started satsang with the phrase ‘Let There Be Peace and Love among all Being of the Universe’ and this compilation begins with his encouragement to become ambassadors for peace in the world.
The compilation includes:
. One devotee expresses having many dreams and always waking up tired.
Papaji brings her to the last second before sleep. “This moment is eternal moment and whoever is aware of it has fulfilled the reason to exist. This is freedom and this is peace.”
. REGIS from France things he is being deceitful to himself and asks to have his ignorance removed.
Papaji: “Remember ‘I am son of the Lord of the Universe.’ All else is to enjoy. Don’t disown your father or you’ll become a beggar. Everyone is a prince.”
. One lady mentions an invisible chord that keeps her entangled, and asks Papaji to cut it.
Papaji: “There’s no cord and no knife. Everything is mind and imagination. “
. SAMBUDDHA: “I get hooked wanting to open my heart more.”
Papaji: This ‘I’ is a hook. Lord Yama will enjoy it. This net is samsara. When you feel this is a push, get out of it, like Buddha, Ramtirta, Vivekananda. Papaji tells the story of Goswami Tulsidas.
. MANISHA: “Once again, when I woke up I had to remember everything, who and where I am, who is Poonjaji. Is this good?
Papaji: “Where do you get the energy from? Turn towards that from where you get love, beauty. This arrogance will not do. Be humble to your own Self. Not recognising this timeless second is arrogance. “I am this body” is arrogance.”
