Papaji celebrating ‘Raksha Bandhan’ in 1996 with his devotees in Lucknow. Raksha Bandhan (bond of protection), also known as Rakhi, is an India festival that reinforces the bond between brothers and sisters.
Traditionally sisters tie the sacred thread, called ‘Rakhi‘ on her brothers’ wrist and in return the brother vouch to always protect his sibling. This thread represents love and sublime sentiments.
